Custom plastics offer a professional look and feel to the product line with embedded texts, certification markings, uniquely identifiable look and feel. Because we design the mold and control the injection process, we can certify that the plastics meet the "Banned Substance" requirements for companies or institutions. During the product life-cycle custom plastics are crafted in our CAD software and presented to the customer for proper requirement expectations. After customer review the mold is fabricated and T1 injection molds are produced for samples and testing. T1 samples are meticulously inspected for flaws and interlocking among other plastics. After T1 evaluation, all modifications are made to the mold and T2 injections and production quantities are made within weeks. Injection molding is the most common method of part manufacturing. It is ideal for producing high volumes of the same object. Some advantages of injection molding are high production rates, repeatable high tolerances, the ability to use a wide range of materials, low labor cost, minimal scrap losses, and little need to finish parts after molding.
We specialize in many types of molds and plastic designs. One of our specialties lies in custom Fresnel lens development. Fresnel Lenses are unique in that they bend infrared light and filter out noise in the light spectrum, and react differently to heat. Also many customer requirements are for specific dimension room (L x W x H), occupancy, and detection area requirements. We develop the CAD design, manufacture the mold, test the lens, and prepare units for large production. One of our quickest ways to develop a product line is to design multiple lenses for the same plastic housing which provide unique (L x W x H) parameters e.g. hallway, living/work room, factory, security and occupancy areas.
